Cherri | Empower 40+ Hadonica's Photography

Next up in my Empower 40+ blog series is a mother and grandmother who adores her family. Those around her describe her as kind, caring, and fun-loving, and she showed up to her session ready to have a great time! I am so happy to be able to introduce you to this timeless beauty, Cherri!

When asked why Cherri wanted to be a part of my Empower 40+ campaign, she said wanted to have a photoshoot where her best self shined through in every portrait. It had been over 20 years since she was last professionally photographed! Cherri wanted portraits that made her feel young and beautiful, that she and her family could cherish for a lifetime.

After turning 40, Cherri said her life became more chaotic and things started to feel like they were falling apart. Through all of life’s crazy moments, Cherri kept her family as her number one focus. She did her best to keep moving forward, one step at a time.

Cherri wishes she could tell her younger self to take better care of herself. You’re only given one body, mind, and soul, and it’s so important to take care of yourself during every stage of life. Sometimes when life is in full swing, we forget to practice self-care. I’m glad that Cherri decided to join me at the studio for the ultimate day of self-care and self-love. She deserves every single moment in the spotlight!
