Meet Sheila!

As luck would have it Sheila found our studio through our Empowered 30+ posts on social media. With her 50th birthday coming up, she wanted to do something new and book a photo session. Sheila is a woman of many passions. She has a blossoming creative side where she loves to paint, draw, and photograph landscapes. She had hopes that through these new photos, she would be portrayed as beautiful and confident.

SHEILA’S Q&A:

One word to describe yourself. Why did you choose this word?

Creative, I enjoy working on various things that show my creativity. I love the arts! I enjoy singing, painting, drawing, photography, theater, etc.

Who are you as an individual?

I am hard working, faithful, honest, genuine, and loving. If I make a commitment, I'm fully committed. If I can't give my best, I won't commit.

Why do you want to be photographed?

My 50th birthday is soon. I want to commemorate this time in my life to celebrate the woman I have become. I have questioned this in the past but have learned that I am "fearfully and wonderfully made".

In your opinion, what are some stigmas and beliefs that women face after they turn 30?

"Set in their ways" "Past their prime"

What advice do you have for other women in their 30s?

No matter what stage of life you are in, love yourself. Don't apologize for who God made you to be.

What do you currently love about yourself?

I'm very natural and realistic (Inside and out). What you see is what you get ❤️😁
