Meet Zetta H.!
Zetta is an amazing and stunning woman who truly understands her own worth and value. We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating her 52nd birthday with a phenomenal empowerment photo session. It was such an honor to spend the day with her, showering her with endless support and pampering. When Zetta reached out to me, she wanted to have powerful photos to remember this season of her life. I would humbly say we more than accomplished this goal!
Working with Zetta for her portrait session was a dream! She walked into her session with a vision...living her life unapologetically.
From our first phone call, which lasted two hours, I made an instant deep connection. I knew she was ready to embrace and celebrate the woman she’s become and own her power. She steps into this chapter of her life with the promise of transformation and embracing change. This is 52!
Zetta knows that she can not let the negative opinions of others don’t affect her shine. She thinks it’s far better to stand out and be authentically yourself, rather than shrink and dim your light to fit others’ expectation. She has the courage to break free from assumptions and wants to help others around her, shine in their own light. Zetta was a true gem and I’m grateful to have the chance to showcase her unique style, perspective and story.

Zetta’s Q&A:
One word to describe yourself. Why did you choose this word?
Conqueror! Because through the midst of life’s challenges…nothing can defeat me. If it stays, it’s meant to be…if it leaves or is taken away, then it’s not meant to be. But either way…I’ve conquered because I accept my destiny.
Who are you as an individual?
If anything…I Am EVERYTHING! I have gone years trying to be everything to so many people and not enough for ME! This year I was dedicated to being a mother, a sister, a friend, a trendsetter, and step out of the box that I’ve lived in for so many years. I am no longer confirming to the standards that are set for me! I am my Ancestors wildest dreams and My greatest motivation! When you think of me…think of the song…I’m Every Woman…it’s all in me!
Why do you want to be photographed? I want you to really think deep inside about this question and be honest with yourself.
To show women what empowerment looks like through art by embracing and getting to know who you truly are fearlessly. Walk in their strength regardless of age or circumstances. Beauty is being confident in who you are and not apologizing for how you feel about You. I want women to be able to say YES, I’m beautiful…YES , I’m sexy…YES, I’m a Queen…YES, I love my body...flaws and all…and Stand Boldly on it! That’s something that belongs to you and you only. It’s yours flaunt it!
In your opinion, what are some stigmas and beliefs that women face after they turn 30?
“You have to know what you want out of life! ““You have to be married and have kids!” “You have to follow the plans you made when you were 21!”…and you’re not even the same person😩 “Dating means settling”…dating is dating and until you find the one that makes you want to settle down…Date! “Money equal success”….money equates bills. “You need to have Things to show your success”...just showing up is enough!
What advice do you have for other women in their 30s?
Make sure you’re operating in true You fashion….meaning don’t loose yourself in others. Know who you are…then you know what to receive in your life. Women carry a lot of weight from others…sometimes the weight you need to loose isn’t on your body….it’s people, places or things. We were not built to carry unnecessary weight. We are Queens. Built to sit on thrones and wear the crowns.
What do you currently love about yourself?
My zeal and appreciation for life! There is good in any situation but you have to be in a space to look past being a victim to becoming victorious. I love that I’m seeing life through different lenses and grabbing every opportunity afforded to me on this journey back to me. I’m putting me first and I know my worth. I am different! I am better! I am Z Vanshay…a whole experience.
How do you hope to feel or look in your portraits?
Like I’m the most beautiful girl in the world! and that phrase encompasses every feeling and emotion there is. And I felt just that!…like I was the Only girl in the world!
What hobbies are you into?
I love traveling to beaches or warm destinations. Entertaining friends, Brunching in different cities and locations. Just being home in my zen space.
