The next woman I’d like to feature from my Empower 40+ campaign is a hard-working mama who has dedicated herself to her family. She decided it was time to finally capture some incredible photos of herself, and I’m so honored she chose me to be the one behind the camera! Please meet my friend, the incredible Christie!

Christie joined my Empower 40+ campaign to finally be the one featured in the photos. As a mom, she often finds herself taking the pictures rather than participating in them. Of course being the selfless mama that she is, the main drive behind joining my campaign was because she wanted to give her children good portraits of herself.

When asked how Christie felt after turning 40, the funny gal of course responded by saying everything started to hurt and she couldn’t see without glasses. She reminisced about the time when she used to think she was old back and times were rough back in her 20’s. She may be feeling it, but I don’t see an old bone your body, Christie! She’s looking absolutely flawless at 50!

Christie wishes she could tell her younger self a few things: keep exercising, put those sweets down girlfriend, keep having fun, never grow up, and make time for yourself because you have to take care of you to take care of your family. There’s no better way to take care of yourself than to treat yourself with a day of pampering and to be displayed as the queen we all see you as, Christie! I’m so glad Christie choose me to capture her legacy photos that I know her family will cherish for a lifetime.
