Leathe | Empower 40+ Hadonica's Photography

The next incredible woman in my Empower 40+ blog series is a proud mom of two, farmer’s wife, daughter, sister, and devoted friend. But most importantly, she’s a fierce woman who is strong, smart, and has a heart of gold. Meet my beautiful friend, Leathe!

When asked why Leathe wanted to be apart of the Empowering 40+ campaign, she said she loves the idea of empowering women who maybe are feeling a little less empowered as they’ve gotten older. She said she’s often hard on herself thinking that she’s not where she should be at in life; however, she always reminds herself that she is exactly where God intended her to be.

When asked how Leathe felt after turning 40, she said the body aches and exhaustion really started to set in! With her husband working long hours on the farm, she’s often left to care for their two children by herself. Although it’s tiring, she’s in love with her children and there’s no place she’d rather be!

Leathe wishes she could tell her younger self a lot of things, but at the top of her list is to work hard and save money. Leathe came to me to enjoy a day of pampering, to look and feel amazing, and to be able to be herself and let loose during her shoot. We had an absolute blast together, and we accomplished every single item on that wish list! I feel so fortunate that Leathe chose me share her story.
