Shayla Hurst| A Beacon of Patience and Planning | Hadonica's Photography
Meet Shayla Hurst!
When I first crossed paths with Shayla Hurst, I was struck by a sense of calm that seemed almost otherworldly. At first glance, she appeared shy and reserved, but as I got to know her, it became clear that there was so much more beneath the surface. Shayla is a phenomenon of patience, wisdom, and compassion, and her story is one that deserves to be shared and celebrated.
The Elevator Encounter
Our first encounter was less than ordinary. On the day of her photoshoot, I was stressed out because the elevator in my building had broken down. With the clock ticking, Shayla could have easily been frustrated or impatient. Instead, she chose to stay with me outside, laughing and reassuring me that everything would be alright. Her composure and kindness in that moment were nothing short of extraordinary.
As we waited for the elevator to be fixed, our conversation flowed effortlessly. Shayla's calm demeanor and genuine interest in my well-being made me realize that we were meant to meet. It was as if her tranquility was a mirror to my own inner calm, helping me to embrace the situation rather than be overwhelmed by it. Despite the hiccups, we made it upstairs just in time for her photoshoot, and the experience turned out to be one of the most memorable and joyous moments we could have hoped for.
A Master of Patience and Planning
What sets Shayla apart is not just her serene presence but also her impressive ability to plan for the future. As an autism coach and advocate, Shayla dedicates her life to supporting children with autism and their families. Her role goes far beyond just providing guidance; she helps these families navigate the complexities of daily life and plan for both expected and unexpected challenges.
Shayla’s work is multifaceted. She assists in creating individualized plans that cater to each child's unique needs, ensuring that they have the resources and support necessary for their growth and development. Her foresight and strategic approach are invaluable, particularly in a field where understanding and planning can significantly impact a child’s quality of life.
